A Few Ways to Wear the K Scarf

We love multi use garments!  The K Scarf is made of two large triangles sewn together and has tons of beautiful variations.  Below are just a few of the ways we've worn this dynamic scarf.  Please share with us your favorite ways to wear your K Scarf.

Gearing up for Boston Fashion Week

Carter Smith Designs is proud to be showing in the first ever Boston Fashion Week Tent on closing night September 30th at 7pm.  Carter's beautiful designs will float down the runway with Models wearing custom made, silk laced, Mohop shoes.  Thank you to Mohop for this exciting collaboration.

Pants Have Never Looked This Good

Do you have a special event coming and are you dreading the dress?  Take our K Pants for a spin.  These Double Georgette (silk crepe) pants are made of around seven yards of flowing bias draped fabric and feel so light and breezy you'll feel like you are walking through a cloud of silk.  Most importantly though unless you try really hard, like our wonderful model Meghan did, no one will ever know that they're pants.

Shibori K Dress

Our most loved design, the K Dress has been worn by the same woman for a lifetime.  It has also been passed from mothers to daughters, and daughters to grandmothers, proving that this beautiful bias design can flatter almost any figure.  We get more love letters on this little beauty than any other.  

Well folks, this little wonder is always evolving and the most recent evolution is astounding.  The K Dress is now, in addition to its previous variations of silk, cut satin and cut velvet, available in a wide array of mosaics.  These, like all of our designs, are handmade at our studio, and completely one of a kind.
